Kildare Maze
Leinster’s largest hedge maze is an exciting attraction located just outside Prosperous in the North Kildare countryside, a 20 minute drive from Lawlor's. The Kildare Maze provides an exciting day out with good old-fashioned, outdoor fun with a hedge maze, wooden maze, an Adventure Trail, Zip Wire, Crazy Golf and for younger visitors, a toddler’s play area.
Clonfert Farm
Offering an Easter Festival full of enchantment, Clonfert Farm is one of our top recommendations this Easter. Activities include an Easter Treasure Hunt, Kids Carnival, Fairy Trail and Kids Disco. You can also visit the farm animals and mini zoo, and at Clonfert you’ll find two outdoor playground areas, a bouncy castle, an indoor play area, mini golf, go-karts, a football pitch, plenty of picnic areas and lots more to keep your family entertained.
The Irish National Stud & Japanese Gardens
The Irish National Stud is home to the most magnificent horses & glorious gardens, only 20 mins away it is definitely worth the trip from Naas Town! This Easter at the National Stud you'll find free pony rides, face-painting and a fun and interactive Easter Trail for all the family to enjoy. Easter is also the perfect time to see all of the newborn foals in their paddocks.
Visitors can also enjoy the regular attractions including the very beautiful Japanese Gardens and the serene and spiritual St. Fiachra’s Garden. The five ‘Living Legends’, Beef Or Salmon, Hardy Eustace, Kicking King, Moscow Flyer and Rite Of Passage, can be seen in their paddocks every day enjoying their retirement from racing. The newly refurbished restaurant offers delicious homemade baked goods and wholesome lunches.
Kildare Farm Foods
Kildare Farm Foods is a family run farm just outside of Kildare town. This Easter they will be hosting a Mad Hatter's Tea Party which includes a bunny trail, rollercoaster ride and a meet and greet with the Easter Bunny. The Farm is home to many friendly, interesting animals including camels, ostrich, deer and many farm animals. Take the little ones on a ride on the Indian Express Train around the farm, visit the hatchery and aquarium, play a round of Crazy Golf or visit the Teddy Bear Factory, it’s sure to be fun day out for all the family.
Kildare Village

Royal Canal Greenway
For an outdoor activity for all the family to enjoy visit The Royal Canal Greenway, a long-distance, off-road walking and cycling trail that connects all the way from Maynooth to Longford Town. The 130km trail passes through the lush green landscapes of Ireland’s Ancient East towards the mighty River Shannon in Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands. Sallins is the site of the Bargetrip.ie team, with cruises along Leinster Aquaduct twice a day, and lasting approximately 1 hour, with lots of local history and interesting facts about the Grand Canal from your captain. Sallins is a 7-minute drive from Lawlor's or a 30 minute walk. The team at Bargetrip also offers a bike hire service if you would like to go on a cycling adventure.
