Lawlor’s of Naas are looking for a Reservations Executive to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, is a people person, creative and really excited about learning all things reservations. You will have an interest in all hotel trends, competitors both locally and nationally, ideally with some level of hospitality experience. We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where you will work on a variety of tasks across the hotel each day.
As a Reservations Executive your main responsibilities will be:
• Manage telephone and email enquiries in a prompt and professional manner and in accordance with company standards ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times.
• Being aware of competitors and their products and prices.
• Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities in order to maximise revenue.
• Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business.
• To source new business by consistently monitoring media to see what companies are booking business and where they are booking.
• To ensure that all business leads and opportunities are followed up in a timely manner including enquiries and provisional bookings.
• Attend promotions, events and exhibitions as directed and follow up as required.
• To encourage more business from present companies by keeping in personal contact with Organizers.
• To ensure that we are constantly striving to maximize room capacity and revenue by charging in accordance with the services we offer.
• Be alert for opportunities for special events to increase our sales.
• To deal with all clients in a professional and friendly manner.
• Liaise regularly with the sales Team and Management.
• To deal with any guest complaints, queries and suggestions quickly and efficiently.
• To ensure that all business leads and opportunities are followed up in a timely manner including enquiries and provisional bookings.

• To attend hotel meetings as required, ensuring effective communication at all levels.

The successful candidate will:
• Ideally have experience in a similar role
• Hotel industry experience is an advantage
• Have a full clean driver’s license and their own transport
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have good attention to detail & work efficiently
• Be standards driven, customer focused & passionate
• Proficiency in the English language is essential, both written and oral
• Be self-motivated and be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills
• Knowledge of HotSoft is an advantage
