Lawlor’s of Naas is thrilled to once again be part of the iconic Punchestown Festival, running from Tuesday 29th April to Saturday 3rd May 2025. Whether you're a racing enthusiast or simply love the buzz of one of Ireland’s biggest sporting and social events, Lawlor's of Naas is your go-to destination for an unforgettable Punchestown experience. Just 15 minutes from the racecourse, with delicious food, drinks, live music and a shuttle bus from Poplar Square right outside our door, Lawlor’s makes your festival plans effortless.
The Festival at a Glance – Race Day Highlights
Running for five action packed days, expect edge-of-your-seat horseracing, high fashion and top-class entertainment with an electric atmosphere. Racing begins at 2.30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, with the final race at 6.30pm. On Friday, the action starts a little later at 3.40pm, with the last race off at 7.40pm.
Tuesday: The festival kicks off in style with a thrilling card featuring three Grade 1 races, setting the tone for an unforgettable week.
Wednesday: All eyes are on the prestigious Punchestown Gold Cup – a highlight of the jump racing season and a must for any racing fan.
Thursday: The spotlight falls on the Champion Hurdle, the feature race of the day, followed by the original Goffs Punchestown Sale – a unique opportunity to witness the stars of tomorrow.
Friday: It’s all about glamour on Ladies Day, where fashion meets fierce competition both on and off the track.
Saturday: The festival draws to a close with a family-friendly finale, packed with racing excitement and live entertainment – including the €100,000 Lawlor’s of Naas Listed Handicap Hurdle, a proud moment for our team!
Getting There: Shuttle Bus from Poplar Square
Lawlor’s guests and festival goers can hop on the official Punchestown Shuttle Bus from Poplar Square - just a quick stroll from our front door. With regular service running before and after the races, you can sit back, soak up the atmosphere, and focus on enjoying your day without worrying about parking.

Monday to Thursday: Enjoy acoustic vibes from Austin Carter, Ross D, Brian Broady and more in the Main Bar.
Friday: Dance the night away with Two Bowsies in the Main Bar and Tales & Glories in the Piano Bar.
Saturday & Sunday: Live music continues in The Main Bar, with special ticketed shows in the Ballroom – catch Bay City Rollerworld & Smokie (Saturday) and an 80s night with Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (Sunday). Get your tickets here

Fuel your day with a hearty breakfast (served until 11am), indulge in a traditional carvery from noon, or enjoy an evening meal from 3.30pm (last orders 8.45pm).
