St. Patrick’s Day 2026 promises an unforgettable experience in Naas and the surrounding towns, blending culture, community, music and Irish hospitality. Whether you’re wandering the festival streets, joining a nearby parade, or enjoying a pint to the sound of traditional Irish music, Naas is the place to celebrate the luck of the Irish.
Naas St. Patrick’s Day Street Festival
Naas comes alive with its own street festival and céilí, organized by Cill Dara le Gaeilge, bringing music, dance, and family fun to the heart of the town. Main Street, Poplar Square, The Moat Mall, and the Courthouse area will host performances starting in the early afternoon (from 2 pm). Expect traditional Irish dancing and music, family-friendly entertainment, local cultural performances and a lively festive atmosphere along the town’s main thoroughfares.
Parades in Nearby Towns
While Naas doesn’t host a major parade, several nearby towns put on spectacular processions that are just a short drive away:
Newbridge: 11:45 am - community floats, music and dancing. The 2026 theme, “Volunteers and Business – the Heart of a Community,” celebrates the people, organisations and partnerships that help Newbridge thrive, highlighting participation, inclusion and local pride.
Clane: Time TBC - local parade with music events around the town. The 2026 theme is “Forty Shades of Green,” celebrating community spirit, creativity and Clane’s rich local identity.
Celbridge: 4 pm - there will be a pre-parade concert and entertainment. This year’s theme, Gulliver’s Travels, marks the 300th anniversary of Jonathan Swift’s famous novel, which has strong links to Celbridge.🍀
