Covid 19 Changes at Lawlor's of Naas


Dear Guests

Welcome to Lawlor's Hotel, thank you for visiting. We are delighted to be opening our doors again with a limited service from Monday 29th June at 12.30 pm.

There will be some differences in the service style and the experience we and other hospitality industry businesses can offer due to COVID 19 restrictions. Our welcome is still as genuine and we value your custom, with that in mind, we wanted to make you aware of some of the differences here. Please read the information below, we apologise for any inconvenience we have worked hard to adapt and offer you the best experience we can in a safe environment. All of our staff have received Covid 19 back to work training, will practice social distancing and will wear PPE for you and their safety. Below is an outline of what your journey as a customer at Lawlor's of Naas will be like and of course this will change as new guidelines come into place. There is also a visual guide on where you will notice changes in our offering.


Arriving at Lawlor's of Naas post Covid-19 

The front entrance to the hotel is now one-way and guests exit the hotel via the Bakery entrance.

"Cyril", our Temperature Butler will great you with a sign to indicate the Automated Temperature Checking Scanner at the entrance and hand sanitising station.

Social Distancing

Please adhere to social distancing when you are in the Hotel particularly when using common areas. We have a one-way system which is clearly signed. 

Hand Sanitisers

There are Hand sanitisers in the lobby, outside the Toilets, in our Bistro and at other key areas along your journey,


These areas are cleaned regularly however we do need our guests and visitors to adhere to social distancing when using our facilities and wash your hands after using the Toilets.

Common Areas, Bars & Lounge

Currently, we open at 12.30 pm each day except for residents.

Tea/Coffee, Scones and Sandwiches are available between 3.00 pm and 5.00 pm in the Lounge.

All Bar, Lounge and Common areas are currently in use as Dining only areas during restaurant opening times. 

We would ask that you don't congregate in common areas.

The reception has Perspex screens installed to facilitate safe Check-in and Check-out and our team are all wearing masks.

Restaurant and Bar Areas

All guests must pre-book a table in Restaurants & Bars to facilitate contact tracing per current Guidelines.

Tables may not contain more than 6 guests and sittings will be for 1Hour and 45Mins. 

Tables can be booked on our website or by phone 045 - 906 444.

Lunch: 12.30 pm - 3.00 pm and 12.30 - 3.00pm Sunday 

You will be seated by one of our team who will meet you at our new Welcome area and service will now be to your table.

We have Perspex on our Carvery area so that you can glimpse our selection of dishes, however, service is to the table.

Dinner: Sunday to Thursday 5pm-9pm / Friday & Saturday 5pm-10pm

Your table must be pre-booked either by phone or online and you will be greeted ar our Welcome area just beyond reception and escorted to your table. We do have some great new dishes available and all service is at your table.

 Dinner is available for Hotel guests in their Bedroom via Room service upon request.

Tables are restricted to a maximum of 6 currently and guests can only occupy a table for 1hr 45 minutes.

 During lockdown we introduced a Click+Collect service, we are continuing this service 7 days a week from 5.00 pm - 8.30 pm


An extra team member is on duty daily to clean Public areas paying attention to key areas identified as touchpoints.

All guest rooms have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitised before you stay with an emphasis on key touchpoints.

Housekeeping services are limited during Covid 19 restrictions.

If you are staying more than one night, we will not offer a daily refresh of your room however you can request extra towels or Linen which will be delivered to outside your bedroom.

We have removed extra Pillows, Cushions, Bed Runners,  Duvets, Pens & Paper, Guest directories and Tea/Coffee making facilities to support our team delivering a Covid Safe environment. We can deliver extra Linen to your room upon request.

These changes are in accordance with our industry guides, to eliminate unnecessary touchpoints and support a safe environment for your stay.

Our Guest Directory will be emailed to you before your stay and is also available via a QR code which is in your bedroom. To use the QR simply take a picture on your phone and a pop up with a link to our website will appear, click on the link and you will see the Guest directory.

Meetings and Events

Please contact to find out how we can support your events at Lawlor’s of Naas always taking current government guidelines into account. We are working with partners and can deliver a Hybrid event supported by streaming.
