 Covid 19 Changes at Lawlor's of Naas

 

Dear Guests,

 

Thank you for choosing Lawlor’s of Naas, firstly we would like to let you know that we are signed up to the Failte Ireland Covid Safety Charter the national program within the Hospitality industry in Ireland. We are delighted to welcome guests travelling for leisure, business and for small meetings once again.

There will be some differences in the service style and the experience we and other hospitality industry businesses can offer due to COVID 19 restrictions. Our welcome is still as genuine and we value your custom, with that in mind, we wanted to make you aware of some of the changes that have been made.

 

We apologise for any inconvenience caused, we have worked hard to adapt and offer you the best experience we can in a safe environment. All of our staff have received Covid 19 back to work training and this is reviewed based on any updated guidelines. We will practice social distancing and will all wear PPE for you and their safety, guests are now also required to wear masks while they are in the building but of course, can remove masks while dining.

Below is an outline of what your journey as a customer at Lawlor's of Naas will be like, this will change as new guidelines come into place. There is a video and a visual guide below to show and walk you through the changes here at Lawlor's of Naas.

 

 

Arriving at Lawlor's of Naas post Covid-19 

The front entrance to the hotel is now one-way and guests exit the hotel via the Bakery entrance.

"Cyril", our Temperature Butler will greet you with a sign to indicate the "Automated Temperature Checking Scanner" at the entrance and hand sanitising station.

 

Masks

Masks must be worn by visitors and staff once you enter the hotel. Masks can be removed when dining or drinking but must be worn when moving around the hotel.

 

Social Distancing

Please adhere to social distancing when you are in the Hotel particularly when using common areas. We have a one-way system that is clearly signed. 

 

Hand Sanitisers

There are Hand Sanitisers in the lobby, outside the Toilets, in our Bistro and at other key areas along your journey, do use them throughout your visit.

 

Toilets

These areas are cleaned regularly however we do need our guests and visitors to adhere to social distancing when using our facilities and wash your hands correctly after using the Toilets.

 

Common Areas, Bars & Lounge

All Bar, Lounge and Common areas are available for use for residents and visitors who have a valid Covid 19 Passport. You must show your Covid Passport and ID in order to be able to dine/drink indoors. We have outdoor dining available for visitors who would like to dine but don't have a Covid 19 Vaccine Passport.

Freshly cooked breakfast is served from 6.30am to 11am Monday to Friday, 7am to 11am Saturday and 8am to 11am on Sundays

Dinner is served from 3pm to 9.00pm daily.  

We would ask guests not to congregate in common areas or in colleagues or friends bedrooms under any circumstances.

Please also respect that our team are working to keep everyone safe and any requests are in that spirit.

All guests must leave The Bistro and common areas by 11.30 pm every night, there is no exception. 

The reception has perspex screens installed to facilitate safe Check-In and Check-Out, our team will be wearing appropriate PPE also.

 

Restaurant and Bar Areas

Pre-booking is strongly advised due to our reduced capacity at busy times to avoid disappointment, walk-ins are welcome. Guests dining indoors must have a valid Covid 19 Vaccine Passport and we do require contact details for one member of each part for contact tracing. We have limited number of outdoor tables available for guests who do not have a Vaccine Passport.

Tables may not contain more than 6 guests.

  

Dinner in Lawlor's Bistro

Dinner is served 7 days a week 3pm-8.30pm for hotel guests only during the current restrictions.

Pre-booking is strongly advised due to our reduced capacity at busy times to avoid disappointment, walk-ins are welcome. Guests dining indoors must have a valid Covid 19 Vaccine Passport and we do require contact details for one member of each part for contact tracing. We have limited number of outdoor tables available for guests who do not have a Vaccine Passport.

Tables may not contain more than 6 guests.

You will be greeted at our welcome area just beyond reception where we will scan your Covid 19 Vaccine passport if you are dining indoors and get contact details for one person in each party. A member of the team will escort you to your table. We do have some great new dishes available and all service is at your table.

Dinner is also available for Hotel guests in their bedroom via Room Service upon request.

Tables are restricted to 6 people.

 

 

Housekeeping

An extra team member is on duty daily to clean public areas paying attention to key areas identified as touchpoints.

We use UV light and hospital Grade Ionisers to completely ensure that your bedroom is safe.

All guest rooms have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitised before you stay with an emphasis on key touchpoints.

Housekeeping services are limited during Covid 19 restrictions;

If you are staying more than one night, we will not offer a daily refresh of your room however you can request extra towels or Linen which will be delivered outside your bedroom.

We have removed extra Pillows, Cushions, Bed Runners,  Duvets, Pens & Paper, Guest Directories and Tea/Coffee making facilities to support our team in delivering a Covid Safe environment. We can deliver extra Linen to your room upon request.

These changes are in accordance with our industry guides, to eliminate unnecessary touchpoints and support a safe environment for your stay.

 

Our Guest Directory can be found here and is also available via a QR code which is in your bedroom. To use the QR code simply take a picture on your phone and a pop up with a link to our website will appear, click on the link and you will see the Guest directory.

 

Meetings and Events

From September 6th; Organised indoor events and mass gatherings* can take place with capacity limits of 60% of the venue capacity where all patrons are immune (fully vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19 within the previous 6 months), or accompanied minors (under 18), in line with sectoral guidance. We have limited capacity due to the work taking place at the hotel but contact our team who will be happy to work with you. This does not currently include private dining for groups.

September 20: Organised indoor group activities (sports, arts, culture, dance classes) can take place with capacity limits of 100 people (with appropriate protective measures) where all patrons are immune (fully vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19 within previous 6 months), or accompanied minors (under 18).
